We have several fundraisers that occur once each year, in addition to our ongoing fundraisers. This page provides more information about some of our once-a-year fundraisers.

Sally Foster

If you missed the opportunity to purchase Sally Foster products during our brochure sale or just wished you had purchased more...  It's not too late!   Eagle View ES will continue to earn 50% profit on every purchase made on www.sallyfoster.com throughout the year.  Credit for our school is given during the checkout process.  When prompted, enter our school account number 885501 or enter the city and state of our school and select our school name from the list.  Enjoy the convenience of ordering online as well as helping our school.

Gift Cards

The Great Lakes Scrip center acts on our behalf to purchase large amounts of scrip from grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers. Eagle View PTA buys the scrip at a discount, and re-sells the certificates to our organization members for full face value. The bulk of the discount - from two to fifteen percent or more - is retained by the Eagle View PTA as revenue to support many wonderful activities and programs at our school. The gift cards we provide are the same gift cards you would buy if you went to the participating retailer and purchased them yourself.

What is "scrip"?
Scrip is a term that means "substitute money". The scrip, in the form of gift cards and certificates, is issued by the national and local retailers where many families already shop. These merchants want to support non-profit organizations like Eagle View PTA. You can use gift cards to purchase everyday expenses like books, food, clothing, etc., and with every purchase, you help our school.

Can I use the scrip certificates anywhere?
Yes, the gift cards and certificates are accepted at all participating retailer locations.

Does it cost a family anything to participate? Do they have to sell anything?
There are no membership fees or application fees. Eagle View families simply pay face value for the gift cards ordered. Unlike other fundraising programs, families do not have to "sell" anything to raise money. So many people are already buying gift cards. Why not let the discount that retailers are already providing go directly to support activities at our school by purchasing gift cards directly from the Eagle View PTA?

What is the order schedule?
The order deadline for 2009 was November 23rd; gift cards will be distributed on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, just in time for the upcoming holiday season. Please fill out the Gift Card order form, enclose a check payable to Eagle View PTA for the total amount of cards you are ordering and return to school in an envelope marked "PTA." Please note that gifts card CANNOT be sent home with students and MUST be collected at school.
